About the job:
As a Senior Consultant, you carry out work for our customers and have close contact with the customer. Emphasis is placed on you understanding the customers' needs and challenges within the daily operations and how they use our systems. The consultant's tasks can include general advice, project related work, training, and updating the OCS product portfolio so that it complies with the laws and regulations applicable at any given time.
The role will ideally be located in Bergen, however for the right candidate there may be flexibility on location. Occasional travel may also be required.
Your responsibilities will include:
Act as domain expert in larger and smaller delivery projects
Understand and document customer requirements and business objectives
Work out solution descriptions for project deliveries
Provide best practice advice to customers
Presents training sessions related to the assigned program
Design and configure system setup and workflows to customers using Mintra Group’s solutions
Customer contact, support and deliver consulting services to national and international customers
Contribute to continuously improve delivery methodology and services
Work collaboratively in cross functional teams
Test new application releases, document test and results, and work with developers/Products Managers to describe error scenarios
Provide 2nd line support to customers
Customer satisfaction
Review product information including manuals and brochures for domain accuracy
Participate in BID processes (response to RFI’s, scoping, estimate scope of work)
We`d like you to have:
Experience:
2-3 years working experience within HR, Payroll or Crewing (work experience may compensate for lack of formal education/degree)
Consulting experience is desirable
Experience and knowledge in Oil and Gas or Maritime industries is desirable
Experience using Microsoft Windows products
Well versed in systems, process improvement and workflow
Competence & Skills Requirements:
Bachelor Degree related to subject, Computer Science or similar
