About the job:
Responsible for account development and account management with the objective of maximising revenue from existing clients but also a strong focus on gaining new clients from identified markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the commercial relationship with existing and new clients
Proactively contacting clients to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery, while identifying further new business opportunities
Achieving pre-determined sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Working with all other departments of the business to ensure excellent service delivery
Achieving enough activity to deliver on budget, which includes number of meetings per week, pipeline and revenue
Ensuring information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is maintained and updated
Planning, mapping and steering meetings – with strong closing techniques
Continually developing knowledge about our client industries and the challenges they face, and how our products can respond to their needs
Maintain a strong network of contacts within our target markets and develop relationships with key decision makers
We`d like you to have:
Extensive experience in a similar sales / business development role with a demonstrable, stand-alone track record
Experience of working within B2B, advantage of experience from our verticals
Experience of working with solution selling or part of our product areas (Training, Competence, HR)
Demonstrable ability to plan, map and steer meetings, as well as strong closing techniques
Able to understand our client’s pain, challenge and possibilities
Ability to communicate and express views to all clients across multiple sectors and different levels of seniority. Presence on business social media sites
Excellent presentation skills on a personal, one to one and group level, negotiation skills, tact and diplomacy. Ability to identify and act on opportunities to grow client accounts
Highly self-motivated and conscientious
An excellent focus and understanding of client profitability.
Attendance at industry networking events/using own personal network of contacts
