About the job:
The Innovation Director - Learning is responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning solutions, leading a team, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance learning experiences and drive organizational success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for learning innovation, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and trends to enhance learning experiences.
Learning Design: Lead the design and development of innovative learning solutions that incorporate best practices and engage learners. This includes exploring new modalities such as virtual reality, gamification, microlearning, and social learning.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external partners to gather insights, understand learning needs, and co-create innovative solutions. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for learning initiatives.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of learning professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Research and Evaluation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development. Conduct research and evaluations to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Project Management: Manage multiple learning innovation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful implementation.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to the adoption and integration of innovative learning solutions. Develop communication plans, training materials, and support strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and maximize user adoption.
We`d like you to have:
Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in learning design, instructional technology, or learning innovation.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the learning and development field.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive decision-making.
Change management experience is a plus.
