Mintra has appointed Torbjørn Blom-Hagen as the group's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from 13th September 2021.
Mr Blom-Hagen has more than 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, projects and M&A. He was recently CFO of Euronext Growth-listed ELOP AS.
Prior to ELOP, Mr Blom-Hagen was Head of M&A at Kongsberg Gruppen, Head of International Division at Multiconsult, Senior Vice President at Aker Solutions in various positions across finance, strategy/business development and M&A, Senior M&A Advisor at Equinor, and Project Manager at Telenor. He also held multiple board memberships and roles in other companies.
Mr Blom-Hagen has an MSc Engineering from NTNU and an MBA from INSEAD.
"We are very much looking forward to having Torbjørn join Mintra. His combined CFO, strategy, project and M&A credentials will strengthen and complement our team. Having Torbjørn on the ground in Oslo with his Norwegian capital markets experience will be very valuable to our company as well as contact reach for our investors," comments Mintra CEO Kevin Short.
Mr Blom-Hagen succeeds Ian Mackie, who will leave the company in October, after a short handover. Mr Mackie has been with Mintra, and before that, Atlas Knowledge - a company acquired by Mintra in 2018 - for several years. Mr Short added: "I have worked alongside Ian for almost a decade. The company and I are truly grateful to Ian for his hard work and the contributions he has made over the years, and we wish him continued success for the future."
