Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 70%.
• Identify the Maritime Electrical Safety Rules and Guidance
• Define electrical safety terminology and key roles
• Outline the general precautions to be taken and the safety procedures to be followed when conducting maintenance on electrical systems
• Explain how to perform electrical isolation
• Describe the precautions to be taken when working on all electrical systems
• Describe specific electrical hazards and the actions to take in an electrical emergency
End of course assessment with a 70% pass mark.
