Who is the course for?
This Human Factors (Maritime) Training course is aimed at all personnel, both ashore and on board, who require an overview of how human factors influence workplace safety.

Human factors have been shown to be the primary contributing cause for up to 70% of maritime accidents (Galieriková, 2019). Understanding of how the human factors are able to contribute in such a way, and identify where they occur is the first step to reducing the number of accidents and incidents, creating a safer and more efficient environment onboard.

Course assessment with a 70% pass mark and two attempts
