Is there an assessment?
Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 70%.
• Describe the types of threats faced by the international shipping industry
• Describe the different security levels described in MARSEC
• Explain what a security notice is
• Describe how to conduct a security body search
• Explain how contraband can be smuggled on board a vessel
• Describe how to conduct a security baggage search
• Identify what types of equipment you can use during a search
• Be able to identify and respond to unauthorised individuals
• Be able to identify and respond to unauthorised objects
• Describe how to record and document findings
Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 70%.
