Board of Directors

Our board is elected by our shareholders, in an ordinary or extraordinary General Meeting. In accordance with the Norwegian Private Limited Liabilities Act, the CEO and at least half of the members of the board of directors must either be residents in Norway or be citizens of and resident in an EU/EEA country.

Rúni M. Hansen

Chairman

Rúni is Executive Chairman of the industrial holding company Tjaldur. Since 2009, he has also been the Chairman of Bakkafrost, a leading producer of top-quality salmon, prior to the company's listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2010. He is a member of The UN Global Compact’s Platform for Sustainable Ocean Business and has extensive experience in the seafood, shipping and international energy industries.

Rúni has previously worked for Equinor for 19 years, where he was a member of the Exploration Executive team and was based in Copenhagen, London, Oslo and the Faroe Islands. Prior to Equinor, Rúni worked in the shipping and seafood industry. He holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and a Postgraduate Diploma at Lancaster University.

Nils Jegstad

Director

Nils is the Investment Director of the industrial holding company Tjaldur. He has over 15 years of experience in M&A and business development. Before joining Tjaldur, Nils worked for eight years in Nordea Investment Banking heading the Seafood sector industry group and two years in EY. He has a “Siviløkonom” degree from BI Norwegian Business School with a focus on Finance.

Torfinn Kildal

Director

Torfinn has more than 30 years of board, directorial and executive experience from private and public companies within maritime and oil and gas companies. He has held positions as CFO and CEO of Simrad Group, Exec VP of Kongsberg Gruppen and CEO of Kongsberg Maritime. Torfinn holds a master`s degree (nw.Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Current directorships; Glamox, Norkart and Oswo.

Gustav Martinsen

Director

Gustav is an Investment Professional at the family-owned investment company Ferd. He has more than ten years of experience from investing and strategy consulting. Before joining Ferd in 2016, Gustav was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Current directorships include Interwell, Norkart and General Oceans (obs).

Ketil Toska

Director (employee rep)

Ketil holds a degree in business and economics from the Norwegian Business School and has more than 29 years of experience in the B2B software market in the maritime and energy sectors. Prior to that, he was an instructor in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Ketil currently works in sales as a strategic account manager and has been with us for 27 years.

Tom Ormberg

Observer (employee rep)

Tom is a senior consultant located in our Bergen office. He holds a college degree in administration, geography and history from the University of Bergen. He has more than 15 years of experience in the B2B software market in the maritime and energy sectors. Prior to joining us, he worked with HR and payroll for six years in the energy industry. He has been chairman of the board for a building company since 2012, managing 110 apartments in central Bergen.
