Oil and Gas Europe, previously known as Achilles JQS and Achilles FPAL, brings together thousands of fully validated suppliers in one simple to use platform. The joint qualification system, Oil and Gas Europe complies with international standards NORSOK S006 and IOGP 423, as well as enabling the energy transition to a clean green future, through renewable energy commodity codes and environmental, social and corporate governance standards.

Mintra is authorised by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) and by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), to provide approved training and qualifying examinations for German Maritime Law as per § 21/2 of the Ships Officers’ Training Regulations.
The BSH is a higher federal authority within the portfolio of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV). It is the public institution for maritime tasks. This concerns tasks such as averting dangers at sea, issuing official nautical charts and surveying tasks in the North Sea and Baltic Sea, as well as forecasting tides, water levels and storm surges. In addition, the BSH is responsible for the surveying of ships, flag law, the testing and approval of navigation and radio equipment and the issue of certificates for seafarers.
ClassNK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) is a ship classification society actively engaged in a growing range of ship-related activities and services aimed at contributing to promoting the protection of human life and property at sea as well as the protection of the marine environment. A certificate of Maritime Education & Training (MET) is issued following an assessment of the quality of training provided by maritime education and training institutions is found to conform to the requirements of the specified rules.
Mintra is certified as a ClassNK eLearning Provider and also has certification for the SafeMetrix e-Assessment Portfolio.
Mintra is a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) member and has a range of online courses certified.
The CPD Certification Service helps organisations formalise knowledge into a structured and recognised approach. This means that formally certified CPD materials are more likely to become accepted and welcomed by audiences.
Cyber Essentials is the UK government certification that protects SMEs from 80% of cyber attacks. It’s the recommended level of cybersecurity for all businesses. The scheme provides businesses with clarity on good basic cybersecurity practices. By focusing on basic cyber hygiene, companies are better protected from the most common cyber threats. Mintra achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification in March 2020.
The Mintra quality management system has been certified as complying with the DNV standard for Maritime Training Providers (DNV-ST-0029). This demonstrates strong training design delivery processes. The audit and certification process verified that we consistently analyse and adhere to applicable mandatory regulations, supporting our legal compliance.

The standard intends to ensure that training courses certified in accordance with this standard are properly designed, meet applicable requirements regarding contents, contain clear objectives for results, are delivered by qualified trainers and are assessed and improved in line with market demands and experience.

The Mintra ECITB-approved MJI and SBT online training courses are designed for existing workers to refresh their theoretical knowledge before taking the ECITB Technical Tests. The eLearning courses have been developed as an integral part of the ECITB/Step Change in Safety MJI/SBT model.
HCA (Helideck Certification Agency) is responsible for the inspection and certification of all helidecks on offshore vessels and installations operating in UK waters. In addition, the Company provides services to major oil companies, platform constructors, helicopter operators, shipping registries, and national civilian aviation authorities worldwide. Mintra is accepted by HCA for delivery of online-based Dangerous Goods by Air (DGBA) "awareness" training.
Mintra is accredited by Investors in People (IIP) in the UK, a standard for people management that demonstrates our commitment to investing in training and developing our workforce. IIP have accredited more than 50,000 organisations and their standard is recognised in 66 countries around the world, making it the global benchmark when it comes to people management.
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the world’s Chartered body for safety and health professionals. The IOSH brand stands for excellent products, high-quality standards and thought leadership in safety and health.
IOSH approval means that the course content contains relevant health and safety information, courses are pitched at the appropriate level and courses meet the highest standards for trainer competence and course quality. The IOSH logo demonstrates the highest standards and applies to both face-to-face and eLearning courses.

Mintra is certified by DNV to ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). ISO 27001 details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and improving an ISMS. This certificate is a demonstrable commitment to proactively manage and protect our and our customers’ information assets which ensures compliance with legal requirements.

Mintra is approved as an educational and training institution with a maritime education by the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA), in accordance with section 14 of the regulations of 22 December.
STCW (International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers as amended, including the 1995 and 2010 Manila Amendments) is a key IMO Convention.
Mintra can issue STCW certificates approved by the NMA on behalf of the IMO for the following courses:
- On-board Assessor according to IMO model course 1.30, STCW rule 1/6 and section A-1/6
- Ship Security for crew with designated duties, STCW rule VI / 6, table A-VI / 6-2
- Ship Security Awareness, STCW rule VI / 6, table A-VI / 6-1
- Ship Security Officer (SSO), STCW rule VI / 5, table A-VI / 5
- Crowd & Crisis Management STCW-95, table A-V/2 and A-V/3
- Norwegian Maritime Rules & Regulations (STCW 1/10.2)
The STCW certificates have a 5-year expiry date apart from the Ship Security with and without duties certificates which don’t have an expiry date.

The Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation (OPITO) has been setting standards for the oil and gas industry since 1991 to help improve workforce safety and competence - over 350,000 people per year train to OPITO Standards across the globe. OPITO undertakes a quality assurance role on behalf of the industry through robust approval and monitoring processes, ensuring that every OPITO-approved training provider delivers a consistently high level of training to delegates around the globe.
The Nautical Institute is an international representative body for maritime professionals, a leading publisher of specialist maritime books and journals and the provider of accreditation services such as its dynamic positioning certification scheme. In applying the principles of quality assurance to the provision of maritime education and training, The Nautical Institute has established a recognition scheme through which maritime products and services may be formally evaluated and recognised.
The purpose of The Nautical Institute recognition scheme is to endorse the processes and procedures used in the design, delivery, review and improvement of a maritime training product or service. Mintra (Safebridge GmbH) has the following Nautical Institute-recognised CPD courses:
