The outcome reflects the condition and standard of operation of vessels at the time of inspection.

Our Comprehensive RISQ Course Bundle

Choose from 77 compliance-based eLearning courses, mapped against RISQ v3.2 (Nov 2025) sections, including changes to inspection scope and the expansion of certain technical and operational areas. Designed to help vessels and crews prepare for the RightShip Inspection Ship Questionnaire, these interactive modules include content and assessment on RISQ required sections, such as safety, security environmental protection, maintenance, navigation, industry recommendations and good practices. RISQ v3.2 introduces additional emphasis in areas such as alternative fuel management (including Methanol and Ammonia), operational readiness and human element management.

For inspection purposes the vessels covered in RightShip inspections are grouped into five categories: Bulk carriers that are carrying solid bulk cargoes other than grain, Grain bulk carriers, General cargo ships tincluing container cargoes, Container ships, and Livestock carriers that are carrying live export of sheep, cattle, and goats etc.
