Learning Objectives
• Recognise the role, responsibilities, and challenges of a seafarer serving on a ship
• Recognise the physical and mental health impacts that can arise from long periods at sea
• Identify practical measures that seafarers can take to manage and reduce common mental and physical health impacts
• Relate the role of Maritime Labour Convention compliance to protecting the working conditions and health of seafarers
