Learning Objectives
• Give an overview of different hazards and dangerous work situations on board and how to
mitigate them
• Identify how to minimise the pollution of the seas, including international control measures,
the impact of ship construction and pollution from sewage and garbage
• Explain how to create good relationships, make the teamwork better, and what may cause
problems in the workflow
