Mintra has held the most recent workshop in a series with leading Norwegian ferry providers Torghatten, Norled and Boreal to share best practices on the deployment and use of the new OCS HR Shift Planner module.
The one-day workshop in Bergen brought together leading maritime HR experts as well as Mintra’s Product Management Team to discuss process improvements and potential future developments of the OCS HR Shift Planner functionality. The open exchange of ideas gave attendees valuable insight from industry peers and Mintra’s technical experts.
This exciting collaboration between Torghatten, Norled, Boreal and Mintra was established to support maritime HR professionals in their adoption of new technology and explore how digitalisation can improve safety and security, minimise administration time as well as improving the work processes in the organisation in general.
One of the participants of the workshop was Norled’s HR Consultant, Caroline Selnes, who has acted as the company’s HR Subject Expert since 2019. Norled prides itself in staying front and centre of technological and environmental advancements.
In the recent years the company has introduced electrical and hydrogen vessels and are currently working on battery-operated high-speed vessels as well as a battery swapping robot. “Safety, security and digitalisation are some of the key drivers in our business model. It was important for us to find the right provider to support us in implementing further technological advancements and go a step further.
