We are delighted to share the exciting news that our People and Culture team has been shortlisted for the prestigious cHeRries ‘Team of the Year’ Award! This accolade recognises excellence in Human Resources, Training, Recruitment, and Organisational Effectiveness within Scotland.
The nomination is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our People & Culture team, whose unwavering commitment to fostering a positive work environment has made a significant impact on our organisation. It is great to know that their efforts in prioritising employee well-being and creating a culture where individuals can truly thrive have not gone unnoticed.
At Mintra, we firmly believe "People are our Business," and our People and Culture team have been instrumental in shaping a collaborative and purpose-driven workforce. Through a myriad of initiatives spanning diversity and inclusion, leadership development and engagement, they have cultivated an environment where every individual feels valued and empowered.
Our Talent Acquisition Program, Global Onboarding Program, and Competency Framework are some of the key initiatives devised by the People team to nurture talent and cultivate future leaders within Mintra.
The innovative Competency Framework within our Trainingportal platform has been particularly effective. It is devised to empower employees to take ownership of their training and development, resulting in increased internal mobility and job satisfaction. 2023 saw 16% of staff move to new positions internally and retention rates of 97%.
One of the most important elements bought in by the team is the establishment of a dedicated Employee Care Team. Initiatives promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellness, to foster a culture of well-being, from supporting employees throughout their lifecycle to cultivating a sense of community. Mintra is not just a workplace, but a caring community invested in the holistic well-being of its workforce.
