• Describe the skills an engineer on watch should have
• Give an overview of the regulations that should be followed and the training that is required to perform the engine room watch
• Describe the engine room and its components
• Describe the engine room hazards
• Explain the process of a watch, from handing over a watch to performing a watch
• Explain additional actions an engineer can take to ensure a watch is performed safely
• Give an overview of an unmanned machinery space (UMS)
