You do not need prior knowledge or experience to complete this course. How will the course benefit me? The oil and gas industry uses a wide variety of processes to turn production fluids into oil, gas and other products suitable for market. Having a basic knowledge of these processes can help you to better understand the industry and its operations. This course, the first in a series, will give you a basic overview of the characteristics of liquids and gases, including the significance of pressure and the boiling and freezing points of hydrocarbons. By ensuring you have a base level of knowledge of oil and gas processing, you will better understand the operations carried out in the oil and gas industry and the work that your company does.
