Emmanolia Kolias has been appointed as Board Member at the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) Cyprus Annual General Meeting in Limassol.
WISTA is the global organisation connecting female executives and decision-makers around the world with a network of over 3,800 professionals across maritime.
Emmanolia Kolias is the Channel Director at Mintra, one of the leading providers of human resource management and digital learning solutions to the maritime industry.
Since moving to Cyprus five years ago and joining Mintra from Safebridge GmbH through an acquisition in 2021, Emmanolia has become a vocal advocate for pressing industry topics including crew welfare, training and development.

Emmanolia is regularly invited to attend and speak at leading industry events, including her recent panel presentation on Crew Welfare at the Safety4Sea virtual forum.
She commenced her career within the finance and banking industry at JPMorgan Chase in New York City. Having worked in various leadership positions alongside notable industry figures, Emmanolia developed a profound understanding of her field, which has enabled her to build and lead truly diverse and successful teams.
Emmanolia Kolias is the second global Mintra team member to be appointed as Sales Director Jorunn Eldøy currently sits on the Board of WISTA The Netherlands.
WISTA Cyprus was founded in 2012, having participated unofficially in WISTA International events since 2010. It has grown quickly to one of the largest National WISTA Associations (NWA) and has the support of the shipping community in Cyprus, largest third-party ship management centre in the EU and top three worldwide.
