Mybreev partnership focuses on employee wellbeing

“Mintra already provides general courses on the topics of information and cyber security, but what mybreev.international offers is something much more specific.“

A new suite of elearning courses on Trainingportal Marketplace aims to help businesses address the wellbeing, safety and security of employees. Mintra has curated 43 courses from award-winning elearning provider mybreev.international to create a specialist portfolio focused on mental health, information security, cyber security and crisis management.

The suite reflects that, since the start of the pandemic in 2020, more businesses are placing an emphasis on employee wellbeing. A recent survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development showed that 27% of employees now regard their employer as reactive rather than proactive over wellbeing issues – a fall of 14% on 2020 figures.

It also highlighted that 75% of survey respondents considered that senior leaders within their organisation had employee wellbeing on their agenda – a figure up 14% on the number from the previous year’s Health and Wellbeing at Work Survey.

Torbjørg Undem, manager of Trainingportal Marketplace, said the suite of mybreev.international courses not only supported the workplace mental health agenda, but provided valuable learning on issues connected to remote working, such as information and cyber security.

She added: “Mintra already provides general courses on the topics of information and cyber security, but what mybreev.international offers is something much more specific. Clients will be able to select from courses that take a much deeper dive into topics such as Working in the Home Office, Vishing [voice phishing] and Business Email Compromise.

“These courses provide excellent learning around safety and security, and the addition of courses such as Mental Stress in the Workplace, Digital Balance and Resilience also ensure that employers can support the mental wellbeing of their staff.

“The learning needs of many of our clients have changed significantly since the start of the pandemic, and the introduction of these mybreev.international courses is in response to requests to broaden our offering around these topics.”

mybreev.international, which is based in Germany, is known for its engaging content and use of storytelling to help students learn – a style the company terms as ‘edutainment’. The courses include a mix of video, illustrations, voiceover, interactive elements and quizzes.

The company has won several industry awards for its work, including the 2021 Micro Learning Award from The Learning Journal as well as the Comenius EduMedia Award in 2020 and 2021. Courses in the portfolio now available on Trainingportal Marketplace are in both English and German language.
