Norway’s Constitution Day 2026 Celebrated by Team Mintra

On May 17th, Mintra colleagues joined in celebrating Norway’s Constitution Day, or Syttende Mai, one of the country’s most important national occasions. The day marks Norway’s declaration of independence in 1814 and is celebrated across the country with treasured traditions including bunads (Norwegian folk costume), parades, flags, music, and time spent with family and friends.

At Mintra, this year’s celebration was brought to life through photos shared by colleagues who captured the pride, joy, and sense of community that make the day so special. We are grateful to Erle Kristin Wagle, Director, Maritime Strategy and Business Development; Mai-Linn Spigseth, People and Culture Business Partner; Mariann Aase, Senior Product Consultant; and Moana Ewald, QA and Translations Coordinator, for sharing moments from their day.

Their photos offer a glimpse into the traditions and celebrations that take place across Norway on May 17th, reflecting both the personal meaning of the occasion and the strong cultural pride it inspires.

Gratulerer med dagen!
