Rushdha & Alfie wrap up their Career Ready placement at Mintra

Mintra is proud to be supporting the next generation of talent in the north east, welcoming two students to our office as part of the Career Ready programme.

Rushdha Zainab, a student at Old Machar Academy, and Alfie Sweet, who attends Bridge of Don Academy, joined us on Monday, the 29th June to start a four-week placement at Mintra's Offshore House office in Aberdeen. The placement concludes on the 24th of July when Rushdha and Alfie deliver a presentation on their experiences to representatives of both Career Ready and Mintra.

Both students have a strong interest in IT and software development, and have been using the placement to explore future career paths while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. Over the four weeks, Rushdha and Alfie have been getting to know how Mintra operates, working alongside colleagues across the business to build new skills and industry insight.
