Trainingportal consists of a base system with base and additional modules. Below is a description of each module.


Trainingportal Lite

With Trainingportal Lite customers can create as many user profiles as they need and assign content to their workforce. With access to Mintra’s Marketplace, customers can explore training providers with practical, classroom and blending learning available. With access to comprehensive reporting, customers can roll out training without any constraints and grow the platform and services alongside their business.


Competence Management

Customers can apply their own competence matrix, where they will be able to measure, monitor, assess, and verify competence and skills for every employee. With nominated assessors and verifiers, this module gives customer’s workforce ownership of their own skills and competence. The Evidence Locker allows for certificates and proof of competence, and skills to be uploaded to the locker, supporting them in their current/future roles. Our Competence Management module helps customers demonstrate compliance. The live matrix reporting provides customers with a complete picture of their workforce skills and competencies.


Training Management

Mintra’s Training Management ensures the right training and content is being assigned only to the relevant users. With instructive charts aimed to help identify and set priorities, users will be able to complete their training requirements efficiently. Once users have completed their mandatory training, they'll be able to access recommended or optional training, encouraging them to consistently learn and upskill. This solution works across all eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended learning. The administrator dashboards allow customers to flag high-priority training, identify training gaps, apply refresher training, book training for specific areas of the business and visually review progress. With the addition of certification management, training budget planning and automated notifications, Mintra’s Training Management solution is a great training tool for modern businesses.


Course Builder

With the ability to convert PowerPoints, add pre-tests and exams, customers can create a comprehensive learning portfolio from the knowledge, experience and information they already have within their business. They can add pre-tests to courses and allow users to by-pass if they meet the standard required, saving the workforce from viewing content they already know. And by utilising the exam function within Course Builder, customers can see how questions are being answered, thus helping identify knowledge gaps. By uploading videos, these can be combined with existing training content to create multi-module courses. The Course Builder is also a great way to manage policy agreements, ensuring customer’s workforce is compliant. With built-in reporting, customers can create and track their own content and policies to ensure the information within your business is accessible to the whole workforce.


Appraisals

This tool fits with existing workflows, facilitating the viewing of learning the workforce has conducted, along with any present or developing skills gaps. By assigning appraisers, customers can see the progress everyone is making, using built-in notifications to deliver prompts in the appropriate fashion. Appraisers and administrators will have access to insights that can be used to identify improvement areas. The PDF export features enable users to have the completed

appraisal document available to use outside of the platform. By having appraisals alongside their training profiles in Trainingportal employee engagement can be driven by helping to create a more empowered and high-performing workforce.


Trainingportal Offline

Trainingportal Offline (TPOS) is Mintra’s solution for delivering training and competence to remote areas with limited or no internet connection available. TPOS is installed with customer’s onboard system, allowing users and training administrators to continue their learning and tasks whilst offshore. When back online, the platform automatically synchronises progress and training content, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Running on existing infrastructure, TPOS has a simple 7-step installation process. With low hardware requirements, separate or dedicated hardware isn't needed. With comprehensive administrator access, remote sites can be managed from a central location. TPOS can be used on any device connected to the onboard network. From scheduling new synchronisations to checking statuses, administrators can easily manage every offline instance.


Trainingportal App

The app allows user to take their required training and save progress as they would on the standard desktop version. It also allows users to download training and certificates for offline access. The app gives users the ability to switch

between devices using their regular Trainingportal login details. Learning progress is all recorded and retained in users' Trainingportal accounts, allowing for a seamless user experience to suit all working conditions. The Trainingportal app is available to download on both Apple and Android devices for all contract customers.

Acandidate

Acandidate is a candidate assessment tool for maritime recruiters. Customers can pick from a library of 5500 questions, or build a custom set, to make sure the perfect candidate is selected. They can access reports that break down results into subjects, giving customers clear insights into the candidate's strengths and areas for improvement. Each subject consists of multitude of questions, all written by subject matter experts and is in line with current legislation.


Easygenerator

Mintra has partnered with Easygenerator to provide a modern eLearning content creation solution. With AI automation, PowerPoint convertor, and auto-translation, Easygenerator allows anyone to rapidly build engaging content with ease. Customers will have access to course templates and the ability to collaborate with colleagues. Users can also use the text-to-speech function to add voiceovers without any additional cost. And, with auto translation, customers can translate course content into 31 languages. With image library and AI-powered idea generation, Easygenerator empowers people to build engaging content that actively supports user advocacy and knowledge retention.
