Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 80%.
• Give an overview of the purpose and goals of the OSHA requirements for the classification and labeling of chemicals
• Explain physical, health, and environmental hazards
• Give an overview of the information that may be contained on a chemical label
• Identify the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) pictograms
• Identify the differences between transport pictograms and GHS pictograms
• Describe hazard statements, precautionary statements and signal words
• Explain the purpose of Safety Data Sheets
• Give an overview of the information that may be contained on a Safety Data Sheet
• Identify that not all chemicals will have a Safety Data Sheet
