Description
Since October 2024 and the introduction of the Workers Protection Act, every UK employer has had an increased legal duty to actively prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. The new Act enables tribunals to increase compensation by up to 25% if an employer has not taken ‘reasonable steps’ to prevent sexual harassment.

This Preventing Sexual Harassment Training course is for all management-level employees subject to Great British laws

Learning Objectives
• Identify behaviours that constitute sexual harassment under the Equality Act 2010
• Recognise the legal responsibilities of employers and employees regarding prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace
• Identify appropriate steps to take when responding to a complaint of sexual harassment
• Evaluate the effectiveness of workplace policies and procedures in preventing sexual harassment
