Learning Objectives
• Classify cargo types and cargo operations carried out on tanker vessels
• Select appropriate precautions and procedures for safe cargo handling at tanker vessels and terminals
• Identify the main types of marine pollution and controls required to prevent pollution during cargo operations
• Recognise the responsibilities of the Chief Officer and other relevant crew involved in cargo and pollution prevention activities
Assessment
End of course assessment with a 70% pass mark.
