eLearning Description
Employers across various industries are now incorporating seafarers' level of soft and cognitive skills into their crewing decisions. These non-technical skills are increasingly important onboard due to the rapidly changing workforce and automation of technical tasks. Additionally, maritime accident investigations indicate that a lack of soft and cognitive skills and human error is the most common reason behind accidents at sea.
The course was developed based on NLP techniques and methods. Principals and examples were based on methodologies and practices from nlpincyprus and nlpgreece. (As in all courses) Important notes:
For the Achievement Striving Training, SMART goals were developed by George Doran, Arthur Miller and James Cunningham in their 1981 article “There's a S.M.A.R.T. way to write management goals and objectives”.
For the Openness to Experience Training, the “curiosity” factors mentioned in the course are based on the Neurological Levels developed by Robert Dilts.
